Records show that in 1875 James Tuite had a jewellery business at 14 Oliver Plunkett St, Mullingar, and after his death Joseph and Elizabeth (née Mulready) Feely bought the property in 1917. In 1956 the business then passed to their daughter Attracta and her husband Brendan Walsh, and in 1996 it passed to their son Desmond and his wife Geraldine. March 14th 2017 is the 100th anniversary of the Walsh Family jewellery business.

Designed and stocked exclusively by Walsh Jewellers, this jewellery collection is Irish through-and-through: taking design inspiration from the local history and folklore it is produced in Ireland and proudly bears the hallmark of the Irish Assay Office.
