George Sheffield 
George joined the family business full time in 1997 and took over the business in 2005 when George Sheffield Senior retired. George spent 2 years learning the trade with Boodles, based in the Manchester store. He also rotated through their other branches including the London stores. In 2008 George undertook a major refurbishment of the the shop, now including a dedicated private ring room and a workshop area for our in-house watch technician. George travels to many trade fairs around the world to source the finest quality diamonds and unique pieces of jewellery.

Olive White 
Olive has worked in Customer Service for many years, first in the catering industry, then in sales. She started in Park Jewellers when Golden island Shopping Centre first opened. After a few years she moved into the fashion industry working for Steilmann in Burgess Department Store. Olive joined Sheffield Jewellers in 2003 and became manager in 2005. She loves visiting the various trade shows, picking out new pieces and finding new ranges to bring to our customers in Athlone. Olive has completed several courses including sales, customer service, window display and gemology

Marella Nally 
Marella has worked in Customer Service for all of her career. Marella started working in hotels, including Adare Manor and The Castletroy Park Hotel in Limerick, and then moved to Galway and Cork to work for the Ibis Hotel Group. She then decided to move to the fashion industry, initially working for Carraig Donn in Athlone and later for Burgess Department Store, before moving to Sheffield Jewellers in 2006. Marella has a particular talent and interest in merchandising and has undergone courses in Window Display and Watch Repairs. She also has vast experience in sales and loves meeting and talking with customers.

Caroline Harney 
Caroline graduated from the Irish Swiss Institute of Horology in 1997. She went on to work in a number of prestigious jewellers in Ireland such as Stocks Clocks in Cork, Weir & Sons and Paul Sheeran, both in Dublin, before moving to Athlone. Caroline took a position as Watch Technician in Sheffield Jewellers in 2011. She also has extensive experience in sales.
